Stekelenburg and Thaigo linked with Arsenal

A 28-year old experienced goalkeeper and “another” Barcelona youngster are today’s players linked with a possible move to Arsenal.
According to Goal.com, the agent of Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg confirmed that there is interest for the 28-year old who was heavily linked with the Gunners last summer when Arsene Wenger was supposedly searching for a new goalkeeper.
In all fairness, young Wojciech Szczęsny was impressive in goal after he took over from injured Lukasz Fabianski but there are still some who believe that the Gunners should sign an experienced goalkeeper during the summer transfer window.
In other news, The Daily Mail reports that Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all monitoring 20-year old Thiago Alcântara do Nascimento, of Barcelona. Always according to the article, it seems the Spanish giants want to include the youngster in an agreement that would see Cesc Fabregas moving in the opposite direction.
